Obituary: Zane F. Clark

March 8, 2016

Zane F. Clark passed Tuesday night March 1, 2016 at her residence of the care of her son Robert, Diane Ketchum, Francine Fisher, Michael Ketchum and Samuel Ketchum.

Our Mom was the hostess with the mostest. She had 76 of us with children, and grandchildren, great-grandchildren, as well as three great-great grandchildren.

She was a member of Calvary Bible Church. Service will be March 20, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. at Calvary Bible Church.

Obituary: Herbert A. Carpenter

Herbert A. Carpenter, 93, died in his home here in Lucerne Valley, after a short illness.

Herb (as he was known) was born on June 18, 1922 in Gardena, Ca. He was the youngest of four children. Herb graduated from Gardena High School in 1941. In 1945 he married his school classmate, Evelyn Delight who was also born and raised in Gardena, CA.

Herb worked at McDonald Douglas Aircraft for 32 years until his retirement. Herbert and Evelyn raised their two children, Greg and Susie in their home in Lakewood, Ca.

Chuck Rader, 88, passes away

Longtime Lucerne Valley resident Chuck Rader passed away November 26, 2015.

Charles (Chuck) Frederick Rader Jr. was born October 3, 1927, in San Luis Obispo, California.

Chuck is survived by Martha, his wife of 59 years, their four sons, Bob Rader, David Rader, Richard Rader of Lucerne Valley and Edward Rader of Redlands, as well as 9 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Ginger Regensberg passed away September 24, 2015. Ginger was born Wynona Rae Pitman to Raymond and Bernice Pitman in Jet Oklahoma on January 27, 1937. She moved to Lucerne Valley with her family in 1949, where she attended sixth grade at Midway School. She was then bused to Victor Valley Junior and Senior high school right along with every other Lucerne Valley student at that time.

Roger Dean Barden

1940 - 2015

Roger Dean Barden passed away on May 29, 2015. Born in 1940, he was 75. He passed away after battling chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

He was a very kind and gentle man who loved reading science history and music. He was an accomplished classical guitarist and enjoyed playing his lute daily. He spoke three different languages fluently.
