Tuesday, Jan. 13
11:43 p.m. A report of a person with a weapon in the 31800 block of Highway 18 was taken.
11:25 a.m. A vehicle was repossessed in the 30000 block of Sage Street.
7:51 a.m. A dead body was reported at a location on Powerline Road. It is unknown by press time whether the person died of natural causes.
7:22 a.m. A disturbance was reported in the 10000 block of Camp Rock Road.

Monthly Crime Stats: Five burglaries reported in LV

Five burglaries were reported in Lucerne Valley during the month of December, according to station commander Sgt. Van Putnam.

Other reported crimes included five grand theft auto, one assault, two assaults with a deadly weapon, two domestic violence incidents and two vandalism incidents.

Nine were arrested on narcotics charges, one person was arrested on a burglary charge and two were arrested for petty theft.

Monday, Dec. 29
5:17 p.m. Deputies performed a welfare check on a home in the 30000 block of Wilshire Road.
12:40 p.m. A juvenile was reported missing from a residence in the 30000 block of Highway 18.

Sunday, Dec. 28
11:46 p.m. A Topaz Road resident reported an assault with a deadly weapon.
7:45 p.m. Deputies made a domestic violence arrest in the vicinity of Lovelace Canyon and Highway 18.

DRUNK IN PUBLIC: On Nov. 19 at 11:47 a.m. in the area of Bear Valley Road and Jess Ranch in Apple Valley, 30-year-old Andrew William Anderson of Lucerne Valley was arrested on suspicion of being drunk in public. He was booked, cited and released the next day.
