Sheriff's blotter and booking logs selected items 12-12-12

We publish the names of those who are arrested in Lucerne Valley as well as Lucerne Valley residents who are arrested elsewhere in San Bernardino County.

BOOKING (GRAND THEFT): On Dec. 7 at 8:51 p.m. in the 35000 area of Foothill Road, 59-year-old Joe William Lutter of Lucerne Valley was arrested on suspicion of grand theft. He was being held on $50,000 bail at the Victor Valley Jail.

BOOKING (DOM. BATTERY): On Dec. 7 at 12:29 a.m. in the 32000 area of Zircon Road, 29-year-old Jason Dean Hansen of Lucerne Valley was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery. A $50,000 bail bond was posted on his behalf, and he was released later the same day.

BOOKINGS (STOLEN PROPERTY): On Dec. 6 at 6:14 p.m. in the 8000 area of Butte Road, two Lucerne Valley men were arrested on suspicion of knowingly buying, selling or receiving stolen property. A 69-year-old man named William Lester Boone and a 51-year-old man also named William Lester Boone were each granted pre-trial release on Dec. 7.

BOOKING (DOM. BATTERY): On Dec. 3 at 10:02 p.m. in the 35000 area of Sage Street, 27-year-old Juan Silva of Lucerne Valley was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery, false imprisonment and violating a restraining order. He was being held on $75,000 total bail at the Victor Valley Jail.

BURGLARY: On Dec. 3 at 5:49 p.m., a burglary was reported in the 32000 area of Cloud Road (formerly known as Powerline Road). The resident said he saw a possible suspect fleeing the scene on foot as he arrived home. The suspect was not immediately apprehended. Three guns — a handgun, a shotgun and a rifle — were among the items stolen. A deputy took a report.

VEHICLE THEFT: On Nov. 28 at 9:45 a.m. in the 9000 area of Midway Avenue, a caller reported that a man who had been doing some work at the property asked to borrow her car to go to the store. The following morning, he still had not returned. A deputy planned to file a report.
