We publish the names of those who are arrested in Lucerne Valley as well as Lucerne Valley residents who are arrested elsewhere in San Bernardino County.

BOOKING (WARRANT): On July 1 at 9:06 a.m., 59-year-old David Ray Heck of Lucerne Valley was arrested on a $50,000 warrant related to a charge of narcotics possession. A bail bond was posted on Heck’s behalf, and he was released later the same day.

BOOKINGS (VARIOUS): On July 1 at 12:04 a.m., three Lucerne Valley residents were arrested in the 35000 area of Sage Street. Joshua David Moore, 42, was arrested on a $10,000 warrant related to a charge of public intoxication; 47-year-old Merri Jean Trumble was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance; and 30-year-old Shawn Michael Wietrzykowski was arrested on a $50,000 warrant related to charges of possessing a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance. All three were released later the same morning.

BOOKING (CONT. SUBSTANCE): On June 29 at 9:15 p.m. in the 9000 area of Visalia Avenue, 45-year-old Jeffery Michael Otis of Lucerne Valley was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance. A $25,000 bail bond was posted on his behalf, and Otis was released the next day.

BOOKING (DUI): On June 29 at 8:31 p.m. on Highway 138 in the Summit Valley area, the California Highway Patrol arrested 61-year-old Javier Valdovinos Mendez of Lucerne Valley on suspicion of driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content above the legal limit. Mendez was cited and released.

BOOKING (ASSAULT): On June 27 at 3:34 a.m. in the 32000 area of Old Woman Springs Road, 22-year-old Kayla Marie McCall Tyler of Lucerne Valley was arrested because she was wanted outside of the county on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon other than a firearm or with force likely to cause great bodily harm. McCall Tyler was being held without bail at the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga.

BOOKING (WARRANT): On June 26 at 4:58 p.m. in the 9000 area of Estrada Avenue, 25-year-old Daniel Richard Lovejoy of Lucerne Valley was arrested on a warrant related to a charge of growing or processing marijuana. Lovejoy was being held without bail at the Victor Valley Jail.

VANDALISM: On June 25 at 12:06 a.m., a caller reported that the rear tires of a vehicle had been punctured by unknown suspect(s) at a gas station on Highway 18. A deputy took a report.

BOOKING (DUI): On June 24 at 8:31 p.m. in the area of Civic Drive and Roy Rogers in Victorville, 34-year-old Brandy Lynn Martinez was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence with a blood alcohol content above the legal limit. Martinez was cited and released the next day.

THEFT: On June 24 at 6:45 a.m., a caller reported that eight solar-powered lights and a trash can were stolen from a location in the 10000 area of Medanos Avenue about a week earlier. The caller was given and incident number.

BOOKINGS (DOMESTIC BATTERY): On June 24 at 12:41 a.m. in the 9000 area of Deep Creek Road in Apple Valley, 36-year-old Casey Benjamin Eller and 30-year-old Teri Leeanne Jones, both listed as residents of Lucerne Valley, were each arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery. Both were released from custody on June 26.

ANIMAL PROBLEM: On June 23 at 1:29 p.m. in the 34000 area of Old Woman Springs Road, a caller reported that someone in the neighborhood shot two dogs and left them on the side of the road. A deputy took a report.

VEHICLE BURGLARY: On June 23 at 7:12 a.m. in the 32000 area of Furst Street, a caller reported that the window of a vehicle was broken and several items were taken. A deputy took a report.

BURGLARY: On June 21 at 4:04 p.m., a caller reported a burglary at a residence in the 8000 area of Aliento Road. A briefcase, digital camera and checkbook were among the items taken. A deputy took a report.

BURGLARY: On June 21 at 1:48 p.m., a caller reported that a property in the 30000 area of Sage Street had been burglarized. A dirt bike, quad and trailer were among the items taken. A deputy took a report.

BURGLARY: On June 21 at 10:59 a.m., a burglary was reported in the 34000 area of Foothill Road. Further details were not available.
